In Thailand people often have very long names and a short nickname. The salutation "Khun" (for men and women) in front of this nickname is the usual way of dealing with things and is perfectly acceptable.

Merry Christmas!
Je vous souhaite à tous un super réveillon et un Joyeux Noël!!!
Ici pas beaucoup de sapins et de Papa Noël dans les rues mais pas mal de décorations pour le nouvel an avec des figurines rigolotes pour se prendre en photo devant :)
